7th graders participated in a Mesopotamia trading activity in Social Studies class. Students were randomly given an assortment of trading cards. Each trading card was a Mesopotamian resource. Students were tasked with trading cards with one another to ensure they had the resources to survive each round of the game. Students needed water, food sources, as well as shelter in order to survive. This helped students gain a better understanding of Mesopotamian survival as well as the concept of bartering.

Girls golf. 9/18...Hayven Fuemmeler got 5th with 55 and Kaylen Johnson got 25th with 66 at a 9 hole match at Salisbury. Today...at Salisbury Invitational (18 holes): Shaylynn Bell (105, 12th, career low), Hayven Fuemmeler (117, 28th), Kadence Bell (122, 34th), and Kaylen Johnson (130, 41st). Today was out of 50 golfers and we beat Atlanta with a team score of 474. Good job gurls!
