Middle School Football Reminder: Player/Parent Meeting this evening for all new players to the program. If you played last year you do not have to attend. The meeting will take place in Coach Thomas's Room at the high school (the old weight room next to the music room) at 7:00pm.

Westran Parents, this is a reminder that students need to have up-to-date vaccines before starting school. Randolph Co Health Department is having a back-to-school walk in Vaccine Clinic all day on August 21st!

🥎 Softball begins at 8:00 a.m.
🏈 Football begins at 9:00 a.m.

Admission will be a pack of sports drinks or bottled water.

Fall Sports Practice Information

The first official practices for Westran High School and Middle School fall sports are just around the corner!

All student-athletes must have a current physical on file prior to participating. Participation and drug testing forms will be completed during the first weeks of practice.

ACT Registration Information!!

GIRLS GOLF. Practice next week, 8/10 to 8/14, 7-8:30am at Heritage Hills. Softball players can leave at 7:45 to get to softball practice. All girls welcome. No experience necessary. Bring your clubs and good shoes for walking in wet grass. jschleicher@westran.k12.mo.us with any questions.

ATTENTION MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYERS & PARENTS!!!! Here is the tentative middle school football calendar for this season. Also, scan the QR code to join the middle school football band app. This will be our primary method of communication. All changes to the calendar will be sent out through the band app. For the Player/Parent meeting on 8/13, this is only for incoming 7th graders and 8th graders who didn't play last year. Anyone who played last year is not required to attend.

Here is the 2026 Lady Hornet Powerhouse Club! This is our largest group to date with 24 high school members and 9 middle school members! Athletes with 100% attendance for the summer include Kinslee Woods, Jayda Miller, Mattie Arends, Presley Baxley, Preah Matthews, and Kenzie White!

MS Boys Weights will be back at 9:00am this week. We will finish at 10:15. Thank you!

Mr. Hogue (Westran teacher) and Mrs. Hogue (Moberly teacher) led 30 students and parents from Westran and Moberly high schools to Italy and Greece for nine days in July. They saw eight world heritage sites, practiced two different languages, walked approximately 200,000 steps, and met many incredible people!
