Westran High School Baseball is hosting a summer camp for all 3rd-8th Graders this June! Forms were passed out at both the Middle School and Elementary School last week. Forms need to be turned in to the Elementary School Office or Coach Wilson by this Thursday, May 14th.

Thank you to all the community members who supported the Westran Middle School Staff for Teacher Appreciation week last week! We were treated by students, parents, community members, and local businesses. To say we are blessed is an understatement! Thanks to the following businesses who showed us love last week: Crutchfield Bee Farms, Subway, Westran FFA, McDonald's, Wandee's Ecclectibles, Sour Goose, Huntsville First Baptist Church, Suit Her Photography, Small Town Smoke, Bomgaar's, Angelcyna's Sunkissed, Roark Lawncare, KB Tire, Cait's Cakes, Randolph County Sheriff's Dept, Hils' Pharmacy, The Crust, Double J Solutions, and Fuemmeler Tax and Accounting. Thanks also to countless parents and students who made treats, brought breakfast, gave prizes, offered services, and honestly made it one of the best appreciation weeks we have had in my time here! Unfortunately with all the hubbub, I only took one picture- these lovely ladies came in to serve breakfast on Tuesday morning!

Overall, we had a great day today with Mens Track and had several PRs which is what we look for at this time of the year. To those who didn't advance to Sectionals, don't hang your head. We are proud of your efforts this season. To the Seniors, thank you for your contributions to the program.

Today was Track Day! Not everyone is happy with the outcome, but I can't ask for more! The Lady Hornets showed up and gave it their all! We were 2nd in district by just a few points! This season isn't over yet! Next up Sectionals at South Calloway, May 16th! Moving on for the Lady Hornets is Norah and Hadley Harvey in High Jump, Norah in triple jump. Norah and Brinkley Jacoby in 100 meter hurdles. Kate Hollann in disc and javelin. Jordan Bentley in the 400 meter. Kelsie Moran, Brinkley, Hadley, and Charley Starr in the 4x100 relay and the 4x200 relay.
