Both Westran MS and HS Softball will hit the field on Saturday, October 3!

Westran MS Softball will compete in the LCC Tournament at the Howard Hills Athletic Complex in Moberly.

Westran Varsity Softball will be at home hosting the Westran Softball Triangular, featuring Westran, Moberly, and Marceline.

Happy Dolly Day! We celebrated Dolly Parton today by reading when her song "9 to 5" played over the intercom. Some staff also dressed up! Dolly Parton was a huge supporter of literacy through her Imagination Library, which gifted free books to children worldwide.

Congrats to these guys for making our weekly honors! Tiernan earned Scout Team Player of the Week for his great week of work. Tiernan has done a fantastic job of giving us a great look on Scout Team Offense the past two weeks. He has made it very difficult for us with his playmaking ability, and has given us a realistic look to what we would see in the game. For our Core Value Players of the week, we’d like to say congrats to John Thomas, Michael Thomas, and Quinnten Tyus. Each week, a player will be nominated by their peers who represented one of the Core Values we strive to achieve throughout the week. The core values are Discipline, Tough, Energy, Family, and Hornet Pride. John and Michael Thomas were nominated for the Core Value, Tough. Both of these guys show their toughness on a daily basis. They may not be the strongest, biggest, but they sure got heart and some grit to them. When they got knocked down, they pop right back up and get ready for the next play. Also, they have shown the ability to get after it in the weight room on a consistent basis as well. We are proud of these young guys and we are excited to see their growth moving forward. Quinnten was nominated for the Core Value, Energy. Quinnten may be quiet but he has a sense of confidence and positive energy that he brings to the table everyday. Quinnten also shows great energy with his effort. He had a solid week of practice with his efforts on scout team and varsity. Congratulations to these guys! #BleedGreen #HornetPride #SetTheTone
