Congratulations to Westran senior Reece Sickler on being named one of the inaugural NEMO Pressbox Runners of the Week!
Reece had an outstanding performance at the Salisbury 3500, setting a new course record with a time of 10:45.50! With that performance, he became just the fifth runner to break the 11-minute barrier on the course.

This week 8th graders completed a magazine big project showing texture. The students looked for interesting textures in the magazines and used them to create the parts of the bug. Bonus points for adding in a fun background.
8th graders completed a project where they used everyday objects to create the letters of their names. This incorporated design and creative problem solving in art.
