FBLA State Leadership Conference (SLC) was held April 12-14th in Springfield, MO. We had 8 students qualify in January to compete at SLC. Four of our competitors, Gage Adler, Emmalee Kertz, Ainslee Tallman, and Jaelyn Miller-Settle were able to compete online at WHS. 4 of our competitors had in person performances, and attended the in person portion of SLC. These members are Kate Hollmann, Kharigan Fuemmeler, Kelsie Boyack, and Morgan Merritt. We are proud of all 8 of these FBLA members.

BOYS GOLF. Yesterday, at the Marceline Invitational, 4 of 5 golfers set a personal 18-hole record. Brody Kallmeyer lead the way with a 102 for 38th, Alex McDonald 104 for 42nd, Kai Alexander 106 for 44th, Kolby Vanlandingham 107 for 46th, and Hampton Summers 109 for 51st. Great job guys!

At the South Shelby MS Invitational, our Middle school girls' 4x100m relay team broke the school record set in 2002 with a time of 56.84! Also, Brooke tied the middle school's high jump record with a jump of 1.42 meters. Great job, Ariell, Brinlee, Brooke, and Makensie!! #BleedGreen

BOYS GOLF. Today, at the Moberly Invitational, our boys did a great job with all 5 of them setting or tying personal 18-hole scoring records. Cooper Drew 99 for 62nd, Kai Alexander 105 for 70th, Brody Kallmeyer 109 for 78th, Kolby Vanlandingham 110 for 81st, and Camden Johnson 130 for 94th.
