The Westran 6th Grade Band and Ms. Johnson visited the 5th grade class today! They discussed instruments and how awesome it is to be in band! Fifth grade students were sent home with forms that are due April 1st.

The Baseball Jamboree has been moved from Tuesday to Wednesday due to the cold weather expected on Tuesday.

The 2005–2006 Westran Lady Hornets made history with a 3rd place finish at the Class 3 MSHSAA Final Four. Tonight, this team will be recognized at Mizzou Arena in Columbia during halftime of the Class 3 Girls State Championship game, which tips off at 6:00 PM. Congratulations again to this outstanding group of Lady Hornets for their accomplishment and the legacy they left in Westran basketball history!

7th grade art students have been busy working on value through pencil shading projects and use of negative space through oil pastel on black paper projects.

Westran will host a Middle School Summer Softball League this summer.
