Westran Elementary staff trivia winners! Over the past few weeks, we had fun getting to know each other better. Staff members submitted interesting facts about themselves and every week we guessed who the facts belonged to. We had weekly winners and our overall trivia master was Mr. Schumann! Huge thanks to Ms. Childs for organizing the event!

Mr. Wilson's Social Studies classes played a review game over the original 13 colonies that we called “Trashketball.” Students competed as teams in a relay race format to answer a series of questions over the original 13 colonies. There were several rounds of this! How each team did in a round determined how many shots they got to take into the “trashket.”

At the beginning of October, we had an incredible visit to the Westran Fire District! A special shout-out to Tony Bell and all the amazing firefighters who gave us such a fun and informative tour. The students loved exploring the fire trucks, learning how firefighters stay safe, and discovering ways we can all help prevent fires. 🚒❤️ You all made such a special impact on our students — they haven’t stopped talking about it! Thank you for your service, your kindness, and for keeping our community safe every single day! 🙌
