This young man met his math goal this week! As a reward he got to enjoy a game of Uno with Mrs. Bird.
8th grade is working on a watercolor versus acrylic painting unit. Watercolor is meant to be applied and still appear transparent (see through). Acrylic is opaque (not see through). Students have learned it’s easier to fix mistakes in acrylic as you can paint over colors as opposed to watercolor.
On Friday, the 8th grade Algebra 1 students worked on solving equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign. Aizleigh felt confident to share her explanation and work with the class!

Girls Golf. Yesterday, on a very hot, tough day at Heritage Hills, Westran Invitational...Hayven Fuemmeler 119, 43rd; Kaylen Johnson 129, 64th; Kadence Bell 132, 68th; and Shaylynn Bell 137, 76th. This was from a field of 85 players. Good job ladies!
