Westran Professional Development Committee welcomed Desi Payne to talk with Westran staff about "Ignite Your Workplace: CPR for Your Attitude." We learned about workplace zombies, several strategies to keep a positive attitude, and different ways to reboot the brain.

Grandparent's Day at Westran Elementary was wonderful! We would like to thank our PTO for organizing events and Family Life Fellowship for their golf carts and volunteering to shuttle our visitors! Thank you to all of the grandparents as well as the individuals that volunteered to be grandparents for the day. Our students always look forward to this event!

Middle School Pep Section is back! All middle school students attending the home varsity football games are encouraged to sit with us in the bleachers next to the scoreboard! Our theme for the middle school is "white-out" so, we are encouraging them to wear white shirts, white pants, white hats, etc. We hope to see our middle schoolers at the game tonight under the Friday Night Lights!
