Seventh Grade is learning the importance of paying with cash, working within a budget, and making change. We set up a concession stand to practice!

First grade has been learning about pumpkins. Students in 1C did a sink or float experiment with the different parts of a pumpkin, made pumpkin butter, scooped out the seeds and estimated how many were inside, and tried different pumpkin treats. Today, they did some measurement activities. Tomorrow, they will try roasted pumpkin seeds and begin carving their jack-o-lanterns. They'll use the guts to make pumpkin slime! 🤪 Learning is FUN!

Thank you to MFA Oil in Moberly for our FBLA tour and Halli Patrick for being our tour guide today! We learned about a local business and jobs in our community. Also thank you to Skyzone, Columbia, MO for our tour where we learned a lot about franchises and business expenses.
