Congratulations to Parker and Madeleine for receiving the December Students of the Month.
Parker: Parker always works hard. Even on days where he may not feel the best or doesn't have a lot of energy, he will participate to whatever his 100% is that day. He has done a great job this year of building friendships with his classmates and is willing to lend a helping hand anytime it is needed.
Madeleine: Madi is a great student that does a good job of working hard and getting her work done in class. I don't believe I have ever seen her be mean to any of her classmates because she is always super encouraging and polite. She is a hard worker in everything she does which is why she will continue to excel.

In September, 1300 4th and 5th grade students from across Missouri auditioned to be in the All State Children's Choir. Only 10% were accepted, including our own Zaylee! After weeks of after-school practice, she performed in front of over 1,000 people with over half of them being music teachers!
The guest conductor for the day is internationally known composer Victor C. Johnson, who wrote the first song they sang at the concert.

Cooper Harvey is part of the MSHSAA Student Advisory Committee. He, alongside some of the other student members, spoke to the Northeast Administrators at the MSHSAA meeting in Moberly today.
