On October 6th, National Coaches Day honors the men and women who inspire us to work harder and do our best. Thanks to all of our coaches at WHS. We appreciate you.
Girls golf. On Monday, in the County Cup match, Vallie Schermerhorn shot 52 for 5th place. Faith Oliver shot 73 for 16th. Yesterday, both seniors finished their 4-year golf careers at Districts. Vallie 121 and Faith 134. Congrats to both for your success!

Middle School Life Skills class harvested apples from our tree and made yummy caramel apples! They look delicious!
WHS students enjoyed the Kansas City Renaissance Festival last Sunday.
The Renaissance Festival is an outdoor event that recreates the sights, sounds, and atmosphere of the Renaissance period. Students dressed in costumes, enjoyed live music, performances, and jousting tournaments as well as arts and crafts from that time period.
