The MS Football game at Putnam County Monday will start at 5:30 pm. JV game will follow the MS game and will be 2 quarters!!

Westran Elementary had a character/pep assembly today! We had some special guests from the high school too! Go Hornets!

2B went to visit Casey's for a well-deserved treat for all their hard work!! Thank you to Cathy Riley and Andy Sells for your generous donations!!!
We also loved watching the Homecoming parade!!



Mrs. Lee's 3rd Grade Class won the "Golden Trash Can" award for having the cleanest classroom in September for upper elementary! Way to go!

Traveling Trophy class winners for having the most book points in their grade for September!




Reminder: Softball Senior Night will be Tuesday October 8th vs. Schuyler Co. Senior Night ceremony will take place before the game starts around 5pm.

Westran softball faces off with conference opponent Salisbury tonight at home!

Drama Club traveled to Kansas City on Saturday to visit the Renaissance Festival. While there, they worked with the marketing team to produce testimonial videos. It was a small group, but they had a great time.




Game day for Westran softball! JV will play at 5, followed by varsity.

Big congratulations to our Westran Cheerleaders for receiving 2nd place at the Regional Cheer Competition this evening and advancing to State!!

Congratulations to the softball team for winning 3rd place in the Atlanta tournament!

Atlanta softball tournament update:
The Lady Hornets beat Novinger 11-5 and fell to La Plata 2-5. They will be competing for third place at Atlanta. Game time is 3:15.
Seventh and Eighth Grade food lab results!
They did such a great job!


Seventh grade learned to make homeade gourmet brownies and will learn how to plate them tomorrow! Stay tuned for their final results!
Eighth graders prepped their fruit dishes for tomorrow! They did a fantastic job!
Peep those aprons? Very mindful. Very cutesy. Big thank you to the Sewing Bees at Sweet Spring Baptist Church for reaching out and making them. The kids loved them.
