GIRLS GOLF. Yesterday in a 9 hole match at Heritage Hills, Kadence Bell and Hayven Fuemmeler tied for 10th with a 63. Kaylen Johnson shot 69 for 22nd and Shaylynn Bell shot 70 for 26th.

Today we preformed an experiment that demonstrates how the cell membrane works in a cell, by only allowing the tiny parts to enter into the cell. We also used an egg to demonstrate the cell wall (eggshell) and the egg whites (cell membrane) and the yolk (nucleus).

7th grade FCS class completed a safety lab last week where they each made a grilled cheese sandwich while practicing following a recipe and safety procedures while cooking. I've been told the sandwiches were delicious!

These 8th graders were playing a science vocabulary game similar to charades.

The middle schoolers have been busy in science this week! This group of 7th graders were practicing making chemical compounds using Mike and Ikes!

WHS Yearbook Staff sold business ads today and did an amazing job!

8th grade band students are practicing marching in time to prepare for the upcoming Old Settler's Parade!

8th grade art completed 3D hats. They worked on principals of design with pattern in the hat and elements of art by creating form in the third dimension.
