
WHS Career Day Afternoon Rotations: Freshmen toured Pepco and Mackpro, Sophomores job shadowed all day, Juniors participated in NECAC's REALL Personal Finance Simulation and Seniors had mock interviews and presentations about life after high school. Thank you to all that helped.





WHS held our annual Career Day Thursday 3/9. Students learned about many career fields during the morning rotations. Thank you to our community members that took the time to speak with our students and answer questions.

Congratulations to WHS February Students of the Month: Brenin Howell and Aliza Prewitt.


These students in 4A went above and beyond on book points for 3rd quarter! Way to go Braiden and Eisley!


Life skills class had an opportunity to help PTO at the book fair. They learned important retail skills like making change and working a cash register.






It is National School Social Worker Week! We would like to show our appreciation for these lovely ladies from Burrell (Courtney, Megan, and Carol). Thank you for everything you do for our students at Westran Elementary!




1C ended Reading Week with watching The Lorax and having truffula trees as a snack 🙂



Westran Elementary would like to recognize William Vanlandigham for Maintenance Appreciation Day. Thank you so much for making sure our school is a functional learning environment. You do your best to fill in where you are needed despite it being in your "job description". You also build relationships with the students. We are so grateful for all your hard work!



Congratulations to Brette, Valerie, Kylee, Griffin and Kash is Mrs. Saah's class! They were the top 5 readers in the class for third quarter and totaled 152.5 book points all together. Way to go!
