Seventh grade participated in a mock trial based on one of Shirley Jackson's short stories. After several 'objections', 'speculations', 'order in the court,' and lots of giggles all three classes unanimously voted guilty!

Boys Golf. Smith-Cotton Classic. Sedalia Country Club. Small school division. Aidan Brockleman shot 79, for 8th place. Logan Brown shot 83, for 12th place. Both career lows for an 18 hole tournament!

4th grade had so much fun hunting for Easter eggs this morning! Thank you PTO and parents for donating eggs. Happy Easter!
Westran Elementary also hosted a staff Easter egg hunt. We had so much fun finding the eggs. Some eggs had candy, some were awarded a prize, and others were cash or gift cards. A special thank you to Mrs. Roark, Mr. Harvey, PTO, Family Life Fellowship, and the PR Committee for making this event memorable. Have a Happy Easter everyone!
Westran Elementary staff had an Easter Egg Hunt today after dismissal! It was an "egg-citing" afternoon! Thanks to the PR Committee for planning and putting it together! Thanks also to the 4th graders that hid the eggs! They enjoyed getting to be the Easter bunny!

Westran Elementary operates through the help of so many: food service, transportation, custodial, maintenance, teachers, and paraprofessionals. It was nice to be able to give back to them.

Westran Elementary is showing appreciation for Mrs. Taylor in honor of National Librarian's Day. She truly makes library and computers a lot of fun for our students. She also helps staff find just the right books for what we need. Thank you for going above and beyond for Westran!
