Middle School football practice begins tomorrow morning! 8:30-10am at the high school!
The Softball Green and White game has been postponed. Softball Parent meeting and scrimmage will be next Tuesday.
Cheer and Football Green and White game has been move to the practice field. Please bring chairs and sit on the track. Football parent meeting will follow.
Come support your Hornets tomorrow morning!
Also, MS Football, MS Softball, and MS Cheer begin on Monday to get their 14 practices in!

Thursday, August 17th, stop by the Westran High School and check out the Ag Shop to meet our new Ag teacher, Royce Black. Mr. Black is excited for the upcoming year and would like to get an opportunity to meet with students to discuss plans for the 23-24 school year. GIRLS GOLF. Practice next week will be Monday 8/7 thru Friday 8/11 from 6:30am-8:00am at Heritage Hills Golf Course. All are welcome, previous experience or not. Looking forward to a great season! Bring clubs and gear if you have it. I will get some for you if you do not. Dress comfortable. I would suggest waterproof shoes for the morning practices as grass is usually pretty wet from the dew. -1 night time janitor
-1 part time Title 1 Reading teacher (MUST HAVE reading specialist degree).

Youth Camp will kickoff tomorrow at 9:30am on our practice field! It's not too late to sign up your child if they are in grades 3rd-8th, for some fun on learning the game of football! Check previous post either on this page, or on the Westran Sports Network for the camp form.
The only two things we ask you to bring is camp form money and your child's cleats. We will provide water. Thank you!

Here is the schedule for our scrimmage this Friday in Carrollton. Our first game will be at 9:00am. Come on out and support Westran Hornets Football! There will be concessions available.
Lady Hornets Softball team will be selling shirts/sweatshirts for the upcoming softball season. We went with a retro look this year. Please email me your order. Email is csander@westran.k12.mo.us. Venmo, cash, or check can be accepted.

Weights will start back up tomorrow for HS boys at 7am, with MS boys at 8:30am.
Would love to see more MS boys show up! Starting them now would help build a solid foundation to their athletic success and overall health.
