FTA members traveled to Columbia to attend the FTA State Leadership meeting. The keynote speaker was Dannie Valentines-Huff, the 2017 Missouri Teacher of the Year.
Students participated in a college fair, with exhibits from several Missouri colleges and universities. The leadership meeting is a great opportunity for students to network with like-minded aspiring teachers, sharing information and resources specific to their career goals.

Our 8th grade Ag Outdoor class has been learning about whitetail deer antler development and the importance of quality management. Today they practiced scoring whitetail deer according to Boone and Crockett standards.

Congratulations to Jessica Owens for earning 2nd chair euphonium in the Northeast MO All-District Band. She has made the band all 4 years of high school. She also received the Northeast District Band scholarship Saturday night at the concert.
