2B's second graders wrapped up their friendly letter writing unit with an educational trip to the Huntsville Post Office! After spending time crafting thoughtful letters, they had the opportunity to send them off firsthand. The highlight of the trip was the informative tour provided by the wonderful post office workers, who gave our students a behind-the-scenes look at how the mail is sorted and delivered. The kids were fascinated by the process and appreciated the kindness and knowledge of the staff.
After learning all about the postal system, we capped off our mini field trip with a fun stop at Casey's for a well-deserved treat. The students were thrilled to enjoy some delicious snacks, and it was the perfect way to end a day filled with learning and excitement. A big thank you to the Huntsville Post Office for making our trip so memorable and to Casey's for welcoming us into the store with a wonderful service and patiences!

Kate -Kate is always friendly and kind to other people. Although she was injured, she always had a positive attitude in the hallways. She has a smile on her face and always speaks when she passes people in the hallway. A smile and kind word go a long way in life. She definitely has that mastered.
Jewel-Jewel is an awesome student. She is conscientious, hardworking, and diligent. She is kind to her peers and her teachers.
