8th Grade is accessing prior knowledge with a pretest and learning new terminology for their Geologic Time Module.
The middle schoolers are excited to meet authors Kalyn Josephson, author of Ravenfall, and Natalie Lloyd, author of Hummingbird during our visit to the Moberly Municipal Auditorium this morning! Each student will be able to hear these authors speak about their lives, inspiration behind their books, and encourage them in their pursuits. Each student will leave with a swag bag of autographed books, as well!
Our 7th Grade FACS students have gone gourmet! This week, they put their skills to the test by creating their very own gourmet brownie recipes—from scratch! Along the way, they’ve been practicing essential kitchen skills like measuring and mixing, reading and following recipes, staying safe in the kitchen, and even doing the dishes!

7th grade art is working on paper quilling. Quilling helps degree patience, precision, and an eye for detail while incorporating elements of geometry and design principles like emphasis, and pattern.
