We have some FANTASTIC news! The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced that they will be providing free breakfast and lunch to all students until further notice. This applies to all students in our district. So starting September 8th if your child chooses to have school breakfast and/or lunch, they will not be charged. We are uncertain of how long this incentive will take place, so you are still encouraged to turn in the Meal Application if you haven’t done so already for those who are wanting to. If you have already put money in your child’s account, their balances will remain the same until the incentive is over. When this incentive ends, we will make sure that we give families adequate notice.

4A is working on our Regions Project
VSB will travel to Brunswick for the rescheduled game TOMORROW, 9/2/20 with a 5:00pm start.
Today's VSB game @ Brunswick has been cancelled due to wet field conditions. A make-up date will be announced once finalized.
Clarification, Senior Recognition will take place at the conclusion of the softball game.
Tomorrow is Senior Recognition for softball players before the 5 PM game against Cairo.
JV football will host Paris at 6 PM.

4A is working on an All About Me project!
The JV game scheduled for Monday, 8/31/20, has been CHANGED. We will now be playing Paris at HOME starting at 6:00 PM.
Correction: Fit for Life tomorrow morning for anyone grades 9-12. Weights will NOT be open for MS at this time.

The football game Friday night will be on Glory 97.3, KMMO out of Marshall, and available via Livestream on the Westran Hornets youtube channel.

On behalf of the Green & White scrimmages, the Westran Softball and Football teams greatly appreciate the gatorade donations!
Just a reminder to please be mindful of the social distancing recommendations that have been put in place by the local health department and our school district to ensure the health and safety of all those in attendance.
The softball fields will have no bleachers, so please bring a folding chair to maintain your distance. Feel free to sit with family in small "pods".
The football bleachers will be a "mask required" section only. The rest of the fenced/roped area outside the football field may be used to spread out and watch the games.
Concessions and restrooms will continue to be available with limited numbers inside the buildings. Please follow the guidelines posted outside the doors.
These guidelines will be for all softball and football games. We encourage these practices to ensure the ability for us to host events with spectators in attendance.
