Thank you SO MUCH to the members and leaders of Girl Scout Troop 30644! They recently received a donation to use in helping others, and they chose the Westran Middle School! Each of our teachers received a mid-year supply box today with items to help students and teachers continue learning throughout the year. Thank you, again, ladies!
Varsity Basketball teams play at the Glasgow Tournament tonight. Boys at 6pm vs. Fayette and the girls at 7:30pm vs. New Franklin. Games are livestreamed on https://fan.hudl.com/ and broadcasted on https://nemopressbox.com/. Good Luck to both teams!!!!
Due to a conflict at North Shelby the HS basketball games have been changed from December 20th to December 19th. These games are at North Shelby and it will be 2Q JVG/VG/VB starting at 5:30pm.
Blood Drive Wednesday December 4th from 12-5pm in the Westran High School band room.
Westran Varsity Basketball teams will compete in the 12 courts of Christmas shootout in Kansas City on Saturday December 14th. The shootout will take place at Hy-Vee Arena. Both teams play Nodaway Valley out of Greenfield, IA. Girls game will start at 3:30pm and boys at 5:15pm.
Fall Sports Banquet will be held Friday December 6th at Westran HS Gymnasium at 6pm. Sports being recognized will be Football, Softball, Girls Golf, and Cross Country. Juniors/Seniors are encouraged to bring a side dish and Freshmen/Sophomores a dessert.

Mrs. Lee’s class enjoyed a “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” feast today. They snacked on toast (toasted crackers), popcorn, pretzels, and jelly beans (skittles)! Such a fun way to appreciate what we’re thankful for!
Westran Elementary kindergarten enjoyed a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving movie & feast of buttered toast, jelly beans, popcorn, and pretzels today. 😋
Turns out thirty seven kindergarteners can eat through:
-Two bulk size loaves of bread and butter
-Two family size bag of pretzels
-One bag of jelly beans
+ two holiday popcorn tins
and still have room for an end of day snack an hour later 🙊🙈

2B had an incredibly fun and creative day filled with festive activities! Making play doh turkeys and donut hole acorns was a delightful way to celebrate the season. Wishing everyone a wonderful Fall Break filled with joy and relaxation!
