Congratulations to the Lady Hornet Softball team for qualifying as an Academic All-state Team with a team GPA of 3.752. Also the following individuals achieved Academic All-State honors: Ireland Chapman, Maddie Burton, Kiersten Block, Maddy Harvey, Aliya Navarro, Reanna Black, Lauren Harlan, Mallory Brown, and Joe Owens.
DISTRICT BASKETBALL
Tonight, the girls will travel to Harrisburg for the first round of district play beginning at 6:00pm. Tickets have been given to the coaches/players to distribute.
$5 Entry Fee and Tickets REQUIRED at all post-season events.

In a turn of events, the boys basketball game scheduled for Saturday will now be played on Tuesday at 6:00pm in our gym. This change has happened to allow other conference teams the chance to make up games.
The girls game will still be Monday at 6:00pm @ Harrisburg.
*It is REQUIRED that you have a ticket to enter the home District basketball game on Saturday. There are no exceptions as this is a MSHSAA District event. NO PASSES will be accepted!
The Live Stream will also only be available through MSHSAA.tv. This stream costs $10/streaming device if you do not receive a ticket.
Boys golf practice will begin Monday, March 1st from 3:30-5:00pm at Heritage Hills Golf Course. Be sure to have your current physical on file at the school or have it in your hand. We will take all social distancing precautions during practice. Bring a mask, though you will not have to wear them constantly. Text me, Coach Schleicher, at 660-651-7820 if you have any questions. No experience or golf clubs required. I will supply any golf equipment you don't have. All are welcome! If you're a baseball or track player and want to play golf as a 2nd sport, that will be great. Have your other schedule with you so I can know the days you will be with us. I will have a meeting for all prospective boys golfers on friday 2/19 during focus time.
