There were a handful of PRs tonight @ Monroe City's small track meet for both the girls and boys teams.
It was a good day to get ready for the big all-day meet @ Brookfield this Friday.

Today's order of events for HS Track @ Monroe City.
Last Thursday at home we had a windy day and last night at Harrisburg was another windy one, but the ladies did well. Maddy Harvey had a new PR in the Javelin with a toss of 83'4". Then last night at Harrisburg she hit a PR again in the Javelin with a toss of 86' 4.25". WAY TO GO Maddy! Emma Wortmann had a great day also at home and tied for 4th place in the High Jump and last night at Harrisburg she tied for 2nd place with a jump of 4' 9.75". Not quite her PR but close! Bethany Dollich placed 3rd in Shotput, 4th in Discus, and 6th in Javelin last night at Harrisburg! Congratulations to the Lady Hornets! And wish them luck today as we travel to Monroe City for another chilly and hopefully less windy day of track!

BOYS GOLF. The boys fell just short, 3 strokes, of Marceline at the Marceline Invitational today getting 2nd place. Logan Bain received first place Medalist honors with a 38. Aidan Seiders 4th with 41 and Colin Brandow 7th with 42.
The MS track meet today has been postponed.
BOYS GOLF. Congratulations to our Moberly Invitational Champs with a score of 312. 17 strokes better than 2nd place. 4th place Aidan Seiders lead the way with a 75, 6th Logan Bain 76, 7th Colin Brandow 79, and 9th Aidan Brockleman with 82.
