2B had a great Valentine's Day Party!

Students in 1C wrote thank you cards to Westran staff members for Valentine's Day. Gatson Sly and Grayson Scrogin chose to write to our superintendent, Mr. Harvey, and thank him for leading our school and keeping us safe. Happy Valentine's Day! ❤️

Coach Wooldridge -
Westran Varsity and Junior Varsity Scholar Bowl teams have had a jam packed schedule over the past two weeks.
Our first matches were against Bevier and Keytesville where we went 5-0 for the matches.
Westran had two teams entered in the PAWS tournament at Palmyra where the Varsity was 14th overall and JV was 30th overall out of 32 teams.
Our next matches were conference matches at Schuyler county where Varsity beat Scotland County and lost to Schuyler County, while JV lost both of those matches.
Our next matches were against Keytesville and Cairo where we went 3-1 on the night.
Today part of the team attended and played in the Calvary Lutheran Winter Jam tournament. The team took fourth place overall and Tarayle Wallace took 10th place amongst overall scorers and Aidan Brockleman took third place amongst overall scorers.
I am super proud of this team’s dedication to learning and am looking forward to the rest of the season!

The winning classes were treated to a Chiefs Tailgate complete with hot dogs, nachos and Red Nation Juice.
