The Westran High School building, located on Hornet Lane, was completed in the fall of 1969, and the move from the building on Library Street was completed at Christmas in 1969 with the class of 1970 being the first to graduate in the building. Since that time, four additional classrooms were constructed in 1984 and are utilized by the art department, special programs, Spanish and Science. In 1987, a greenhouse was constructed to provide a laboratory for agriculture and science classes. In 1996, a band room, weight room and girl’s locker room were added to the facility.
